Spinners Welle House is a bright and airy 3 bedroom, rural holiday home, with open plan kitchen, generous, sunny private garden with patio and off street parking. On the outskirts of Chippenham market town, it is perfect as a base to explore the beautiful County of Wiltshire, the stunning villages of the Cotswolds as well as the World Heritage City of Bath.
Lots of lovely walks from your doorstep - with pubs and supermarkets within easy car access. Great for families or small groups of friends to relax and enjoy the English countryside

Parking - The house has a private gravel driveway - with parking for 2 cars (3 cars is possible with one behind the other), through wooden double gates off a single track lane.

The Garden - The sunny garden is a good size, private and enclosed and has garden furniture and loungers. There is also a patio area with a charcoal BBQ, table and chairs for al fresco dining on warmer days.

The Property - You enter the double patio doors straight into the bright, open plan sitting/kitchen/dining area with direct access to the sunny garden. The fully fitted kitchen looks out onto open fields behind the house. There is a large dining table and fridge/freezer with cold water dispenser, electric double oven and ceramic hob. The lounge area has an L shaped sofa, fire and smart TV.

On the second floor you will find the wonderfully generous master suite - with dressing area and ensuite bathroom (with bath) and super king size bed.

On the gound floor, there are two further bedrooms - Bedroom 2 is a small double which can be made up with either a king size bed or two small singles (please note that when made up with 2 beds, they are small singles - so are great for smaller adults / teenagers / children - when fixed together it is a King size bed).
The other bedroom, bedroom 3, on the ground floor is a cosy bunk room - with full sized single beds. Just down the corridor is the family shower room.
All rooms look out over the private garden and surrounding fields.

The Facilities - there is a stunning remote control wood effect "Rais" gas fire, as well as a 50" Smart HD TV and DAB/Bluetooth radio. For coffee lovers, there is a Nespresso coffee machine.
Linen and towels are provided - as well as plenty of useful essentials such as soap, tea, coffee and sugar. The property has oil fired central heating as well as extra blankets for cosy nights in. Boots are recommended as the lane and local footpaths are lovely to explore but can get muddy.
There are maps and guides to local walks as well as lots of useful information in the cottage folder - including places to eat, shop, visit and some interesting history about Spinners Welle.
Fast broadband, dishwasher, games and washing machine are also available.

We do not yet have electric charging for cars but there are 5 x superfast charging points at Chippenham Pit Stop - a services just up the road (around 8 minutes drive away) with a cafe while you wait

Dogs - we welcome up to two well behaved dogs

House Rules

We look forward to welcoming you to our much loved holiday home. To help look after it for many years to come we have a few simple requests:

Check in time is anytime from 3pm, key is in a key safe. Check out is by 11am. We will message you the day before your arrival with all check in instructions.

1. Maximum of two dogs per booking please. We ask that dogs are not left unsupervised in the house or garden 

2. No parties or events

3. Filming is considered but please contact us in advance with all the details

4. No smoking

5. No additional guests are permitted, other than those mentioned in booking (and not to exceed maximum capacity of that property)

6. We ask that doors are locked when going out and windows closed.

7. We request that on departure the key is put back into key safe, front door locked and rubbish and recycling are put out as per instructions

8. No naked flames in or around the property

We live 25 minutes away and so are on hand to help with any issues or queries you may have.
